Enjoyed browsing the 1935 SHS Copperdome received from Richard Pollak of Palo Altos, CA. An older relative of Richard's, Joan Pollak, was in the 8th grade. This was back in the days when both seventh and eight graders attended classes at the high school. There were 1,200 students at the school in 1935.
The photo below is of the Auditorium, which was completed in the summer of 1935 before the 1935-1936 school year.

Copperdome Gift to Alumni Association
The Alumni Association received 1944, 1945, 1946, 1947 and 1974 50th Anniversary editions of the SHS Copperdome in the mail today. They were a gift from Tina Hill, daughter of Denise (Dix) Hill, Class of '47, who passed in 1986.
After perusing each yearbook, it was comforting to know that the same high standards and educational leadership that distinguished Shorewood from other high schools back then are still alive and well today.
Hail to thee, Shorewood!
